Another print often seen is "Pauls print" of Port Glasgow featuring the ropewalk in 1768. The man in the painting coming out the walk so long was the rope. This painting was slightly off base as the walk is out of position.

In 1792 Joseph Farrington RA also painted Port Glasgow and Greenock
