Old photographs are one of the sites most popular sections. The images vary in quality and where possible I have added details for each image. They have been collected from many sources and some scanned from my family collection.

I welcome ideas and requests for areas of the town to be photographed.
If I have failed to cover an area that you would like to see please get in touch and I will do my best to have them added to the site.

The colour photographs of the town were all taken for the site over the last few years. I have attempted to cover many of the well known buildings and areas in the galleries I started to photograph the town 10 years ago and many of my photos now count as "old" because there has been so many changes in this time. I have added what I think are the best of my collection over the last few years in Gallery One.

The School section contains photographs of all Port Glasgows schools old buildings and new. Some of the old class photographs have been submitted to the site by visitors.
