Town Centre Improvements 2011
Work takes place in Port Glasgow around the towns buildings and war memorial in preparation to site a statue which will be set on a black plinth at Fore Street to help create a "grand entrance" to the town centre. A new footpath will link the statue with Fore Street.
The public have been given the chance to pick the final design from one of three artists. All town centre photographs were taken June 2011.
